1. Service and scope
Reservemate is operated by Alireza Bandegi as an individual; operator and contact details appear below. It helps you discover businesses and arrange appointments in Finland. These terms concern the free platform. The service provider’s legal identity, contact details, service price and cancellation conditions are displayed before confirmation. The service contract is with that provider. Reservemate does not provide the booked service, certify professional qualifications, collect payments or charge a booking commission. Statutory consumer rights remain applicable where the service contract qualifies; an appointment date or online cancellation cutoff does not automatically remove a withdrawal right.
2. Accounts and fair use
Provide accurate contact details, verify your email and protect your sign-in credentials. Use the service only where you have the legal capacity or required guardian authorisation. Do not impersonate others, create fraudulent bookings or reviews, bypass access controls, harvest personal information, upload harmful content or disrupt the service. Book for another person only where you are authorised and can lawfully provide their details. Keep booking notes relevant and avoid sensitive personal information.
3. Booking and confirmation
Check the business, services, staff, location, local time, total price and cancellation rules before confirming. Multiple selected services form one continuous appointment with one qualified staff member. A reservation is confirmed when the platform returns a booking reference; a selected time or pending screen is not confirmation. If the connection fails, check My bookings before retrying. Availability can change before confirmation. Retrying the same request is designed to return the original reservation rather than create a duplicate.
4. Prices and payment
The Reservemate platform is currently free for customers and businesses. There are no platform subscriptions, booking fees or commissions. The business may charge for its services at the displayed price. Prices are shown in EUR and payment is made directly to the business at the venue. Reservemate does not currently collect online payments, deposits, cancellation charges or refunds. Questions about a service charge or refund should first go to the business. Any future paid platform feature would require clear advance information and applicable agreement; no automatic paid conversion is introduced by these terms.
5. Changes, cancellation and consumer rights
Each business sets its online change deadline and cancellation policy. Available actions appear in the booking details. Contact the business after the deadline or if a service is cancelled, late or unsuitable. A reschedule keeps the reservation’s original service and price snapshots unless a separate lawful change is agreed. A cancellation policy does not remove mandatory consumer rights. Statutory withdrawal rights and exceptions depend on the service and circumstances; this platform does not impose a blanket waiver. No-show or cancellation charges, where lawful and properly agreed with the business, are not collected by Reservemate.
6. Reviews, images and moderation
You retain rights in your content and permit Reservemate to store and display it as needed for the feature you choose. Submit only content you may lawfully share. Reviews require your completed booking and should describe your own experience. Businesses can respond but cannot change a customer rating. Moderators may hide unlawful, abusive, fraudulent or privacy-infringing content and record the reason. Use the report control or support email to raise a concern or appeal a moderation decision. Genuine negative feedback is not removed merely because a business dislikes it.
7. Availability, restriction and ending use
We aim to keep the service available but maintenance, supplier failures and outages can occur. Where proportionate and lawful, access may be restricted to protect users or address serious breaches; reasons and a way to contact support will be provided unless prohibited or unsafe. You may stop using the service and request account deletion. Ending platform use does not automatically cancel an appointment or erase records that must lawfully be kept. Nothing here excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.
8. Questions, disputes and updates
Contact the business first about the booked service and Reservemate support about platform issues. Finnish law applies to the extent lawful, without taking away mandatory protections available to consumers in their country of residence. Eligible consumer disputes can be taken to the Finnish Consumer Advisory Services and Consumer Disputes Board, and courts remain available under applicable jurisdiction rules. We will notify you of material changes where required. The documents are available in English, Finnish and Swedish; mandatory law prevails over inconsistent wording.
Withdraw from contract
Where statutory withdrawal rights apply, you normally have 14 days from concluding the service contract to withdraw without giving a reason. Missing required information can extend this period. Use “Withdraw from contract” in your booking details on this website or app, or send an unambiguous declaration to the provider. You receive an email recording your declaration and its original submission time. This is separate from the provider’s ordinary cancellation deadline. Exceptions depend on the service and applicable law; an appointment date alone does not remove withdrawal rights.
You can also write directly to the provider without a Reservemate account. State your name, booking reference, declaration and an address for the receipt. If you need help identifying the booking, contact support@reservemate.app. No reason for withdrawal is required.
